Westwood Electronics Inc. was established in 1956 in Los Angeles, California.

We as consumers experienced the frustration of electronic equipment failures and found that getting reliable, timely, quality service that kept the consumer’s best interest in mind was very hard to find. Westwood Electronics’ objective, since its entry into the electronics service business in the 1980s, has been to address those needs.

Our mission and goals are to offer our consumers and dealers the following:

  • Timely service with a turnaround of 3-5 working days
  • Full contact with product owners at each step of the service process
  • Reliable service using factory trained certified technicians
  • We use only original factory supplied replacement parts
  • Close relationship with manufacturers and extended warranty companies
  • Service for all major extended warranty companies
  • Honesty and integrity in all aspects of our organization and practices
  • Service in your best interest. This means that if we can get the manufacturer to cover part of your repair, we will, or if your product repair cost exceeds its replacement value we will advise you. We also perform most service bulletins that apply to your product

We put our technology know how to work for our customers and dealers:

  • A fully automated computerized system that keeps track of all repairs. We monitor your product’s service history and advise you if any patterns are developing. We use this system to track the progress of your service with us and inform you at each step.
  • On site service that doesn’t take up your entire day. We offer a 3 hour time frame for all onsite service requests, with 80% in-home repair completion
  • Professional staff ready to address all your service needs, available Monday through Friday 8 AM to 4:45 PM
  • Award winning service, multiple manufacturer awards for service excellence

OUR HISTORY

  • 2000s

    Commercial & Hospitalty Services

    Westwood Electronics expanded it’s service offerings to the Hospitality and Commercial industries, servicing over 30 hotels/motels, hospitals, arenas and businesses in the greater Los Angeles area.

  • 1990s

    Printers & Scanners Service

    With the advance of Computers and the proliferation of printers, scanners and POS printer the need for service on this new line of product introduced new opportunities for Westwood electronics to serve its customers.

    We began full line services for Major Manufacturers.

  • 1980s

    Electronics Service Center

    As Electronics Technology transitioned to Solid State and Digital the need for qualified service centers that could support this new technology became very apparent to the manufacturers and Consumers alike. Westwood Electronics was selected by 25 Major Manufacturers to provide service on their brand of elctronics.

  • 1970s

    Solid State Electronics Parts Distributor

    The early 70s was the dawn of solid state electronics, transitioning from analogue to digital. Westwood Electronics was highly regarded by major manufacturers as a premier parts distributor and was given exclusive distribution and support services for the new technologies.

  • 1950s

    Analog Electronic Parts Distribution

    Westwood Electronics started out as Parts Distributor for major Electronic Manufacturers, distributing analog parts for the electronics repair industry. We were one of the first parts distributors in Los Angeles County.
